Addison's Blog

 I learned a good amount of information in this class. I learned how to write better even though my high school teachers did a very good job on teaching me how to do that. I also learned that so many rules teachers make you use are stupid, My high school teachers used to be like "you have to do it this way in college or you will get a zero." when you don't even make us use some of those rules. It has been an interesting semester, I never thought that it would have turned out this way but here we are. Ready to grub on thanksgiving though to be honest. 

 The text book did help me during my writing process, it helped me get the citations correct and other grammar needs. I hope that my writing has improved over this semester and that i can take what I have learned and apply it to all my writing in the future and present. My papers this semester have gotten so much better because of this book and how I learned how to write better. 

 I think that writing helped me because it helped me figure a way to get my point across faster and not having to write a lot to explain myself. It makes me summarize my thoughts into a short paragraph and helped me write where people can understand what I am trying to say.

 I believe that peer reviews worked very well because I fee like they got all of my mistakes fixed. Thia will help me revise and hopefully make a good grade.

 I improved my first post by adding detail about what my future plans are because originally I didn't have anything about the future and it was only two sentences long. There wasn't anything grammatically wrong with the first post so I didn't need to fix anything but I didn't write a lot. 

  "Hi I am Addison, I am majoring in Accounting. My goal of this class is to become a better writer and be able to get my work done without getting distracted." This is my first post, it is very short and not detailed at all. I should have said where I am from which is Macon. I plan on going to Georgia Southern next year and room with a lot of my buddies out there. 

 The advantages and disadvantages of peer reviews. The advantages are that someone besides yourself can read your work and see things that you look over. The disadvantages are that someone is judging your work and if you wrote a bad paper then everyone will know it is bad. 

 Something new from my college life is getting myself into bad situations and finding a way not to die from them. Gaining a lot more freedom can really let you have fun but there are some times where i look back and realize that I could have been injured. Life gets crazy sometimes but you will die one day and hope it is not today.
